Following the bankruptcy of the aluminum company, UTB acquired the real estate and all assets, including the aluminium smelting, foundry as well as the anode plant. Both the foundry facility and the anode plant were re-launched by UTB and Century Aluminium. The smelting facility was not viable and has been dismantled for re-industrialisation by UTB.
