UTB Industrial Acquisitions has taken over the PET Blow Moulder Constar International at Zevenaar, The Netherlands. Constar moulds PET bottles and pre-forms for the soft drink, dairy, beer and wine markets and found itself in a suspension/bankruptcy situation after the American Constar International Holdings LLC decided to shut down the European site. Supported by the expertise and knowhow of UTB, Constar Plastics B.V. (www.constarplastics.eu) will resume the activities and reposition itself on the market with a strong focus on innovation. The company will continue with (a large part) of the former employees and under the current management.
